pThe Church observes the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul on February 22nd, also known as "Chair of Peter Day," which signifies that Peter was the first apostle among others chosen to lead the Church after Jesus' resurrection and ascension. Peter and Paul are two of the most well-known saints of the early church. In a picture by Paul Rubens, Peter is shown carrying the "Keys" and donning a bishop's pallium./p
