Himachal Winter Carnival's History
The Winter Carnival of Manali was originally created by Harnam Singh, who also founded the Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, and was first organised in 1977.
The primary goals of the funfair at first were to publicise regional cultural events as well as skiing as an adventure sport. Yet over time, it gained a lot of new layers and gradually gained a lot of popularity among the people.
